RSI’s Aviation Weather Systems division provides installation and maintenance of Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS).

RSI is the only national AWOS maintenance provider to hold FAA and factory certification on all existing models of AWOS, including All-Weather (AWI), NEXWOS, and Vaisala.

The Aviation Navaids Division provides services for ground-based radio navigation aids such as Non-directional beacons (NDB), localizers and Instrument Landing Systems, and other RF navaids.

RSI is also involved in the development of the next generation of precision approach landing aids, the GPS-based Local Area Augmentation Systems (LAAS)

RSI’s service staff has over 20 years of RF and antenna experience in multiple industries.

The RSI Facilities Monitoring Center monitors each site periodically 24 hours a day 365 days a year to ensure reliability. The FMC features real-time radar and lightning location technologies to anticipate problems before they may occur. Sites may be monitored via landline, Satellite, Internet, or HF long-range radio.
